AI Visibility breaks your results down by engine and by type of buyer question.

KPI cards

Mention rate and citation rate over time

A mention is AI naming you. A citation is AI linking to you. You can have one without the other, and the gap between the two lines is useful:
  • High mentions, low citations: AI knows your brand but uses other sites as its evidence. Work on giving it something of yours to cite.
  • Citations without mentions: AI reads your pages for facts but recommends someone else.

Platform comparison

Mention rate, citation rate and prompt coverage for each engine side by side. The same question doesn’t get the same answer everywhere, so it’s common to be strong on one engine and absent from another.

How AI describes your brand

The split of positive, neutral and negative answers per engine, counting only answers that mention you. See Sentiment.

Mention rate by buyer question

Your mention rate per prompt category: Discovery, Comparison, Alternatives, Pricing and Brand. Categories with too few answers to be reliable are greyed out and marked Low sample · N answers.
A low Discovery rate with a high Brand rate is the most common pattern: AI knows who you are when asked by name, but doesn’t recommend you when buyers ask for options. Discovery is where new customers come from.

Your average spot in AI lists

Your average position over time, shown as #N. Lower is better. It’s averaged only over answers that list several brands in order and mention you.

What AI says about your brand

Two-word phrases that keep recurring around your brand name in answers, with how often each appears, for example family recipe or premium price. They show the associations AI has formed. If there are none yet, the card says No recurring phrases yet. Every card has View answers, which opens the underlying answers in Prompts & Answers.
