A browser visit counts as an AI referral when its Referer is one of these hosts (or a subdomain of one), or, when there is no matching Referer, when the landing URL’s utm_source matches.
Google AI Overviews and AI Mode send visitors from google.com, the same as ordinary search results, so their clicks can’t be separated from organic Google traffic in referral data. Use AI Visibility to measure your presence in them.
