# Projects and sites

> Add websites, switch between them, and understand project status.

Each website you track is a **project**. Agencies usually have one project per client.

## Switching projects

Use the project switcher in the header. Search with **Search projects**. Each project shows a status chip:

| Status | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **Live** | Answers and traffic data are arriving |
| **Reporting** | Answer scans are running |
| **No data yet** | Setup is finished but nothing has arrived yet |
| **Setup incomplete** | The wizard wasn't finished. Opening it resumes setup |

The dashboard always opens on the project you used last.

## Adding a project

Click **New project** in the switcher. Adding a site runs the same [setup flow](/configuration/onboarding).

The number of sites you can have depends on your plan. Free trial, Basic and Growth include 1 website. Enterprise includes up to 100. At the limit you'll see *Your plan includes 1 website. Remove one, or upgrade on the Billing page to add another.*

A domain can belong to only one RankRaft AI account. If yours is already attached elsewhere, contact [hello@rankraft.ai](mailto:hello@rankraft.ai).

## Scan schedule

| What | How often |
| - | - |
| Answer scan (every prompt on every engine) | Daily, in a fixed slot set when the site was created |
| Page inventory and AI access check | Monthly |
| AI access re-check | Whenever you click **Re-check now** on **Integrations** (once every 10 minutes) |

If a scan fails on our side, it's retried automatically and the status strip shows *Last scan failed — retrying in …*.
