# Prompts & Answers

> What AI said, prompt by prompt, with every stored answer and the sources it cited.

**Prompts & Answers** shows what AI said, prompt by prompt. Select a prompt to read the answers.

## KPI cards

| Card | Meaning |
| - | - |
| Prompts tracked | Active prompts, asked every scan |
| Answers analysed | Answers in the range, and on how many engines |
| Prompts naming your brand | Prompts where you were named at least once, and their share |
| Prompts you never appear in | Prompts where rivals get the answer and you never do |

## Finding prompts

* **Search:** matches prompt text or category.
* **Category:** All, Discovery, Comparison, Alternatives, Pricing, Brand.
* **Mentioned:** Any, Mentioned or Never mentioned.
* **Sort:** **Importance** (the default: worst first), Mention rate, Citation rate or Answers.

## The prompts table

| Platforms | Engines the prompt was asked on |
| Mentions | Your mention rate for this prompt |
| Citations | Your citation rate for this prompt |
| Spot | Your average position when named |
| Top competitor | The confirmed competitor named most often for this prompt |
| Trend | Your daily mention rate as a sparkline |
| Answers | Answers collected in the range |

Prompts where you're never named are marked **High importance**.

## Prompt detail

Click a prompt to open it. If you've set a market, a badge shows exactly how it was asked, for example *Asked as “best CRM (United Kingdom)”*.

* **KPI cards:** mention rate, citation rate, average spot and answers analysed for this prompt.
* **Answer history:** a strip of the recent scan days. Hover a day to see *your brand named in X of Y answers*, or *no AI answer shown*.
* **By engine:** the same question doesn't get the same answer everywhere.
* **Who else gets named:** confirmed competitors named in answers to this prompt.
* **The answers:** the most recent answers, stored exactly as the engine returned them. Your brand and your rivals are highlighted, and each answer lists the **Sources cited**.

## Changing your prompts

Prompts are chosen during [onboarding](/configuration/onboarding). To change the set later, contact [hello@rankraft.ai](mailto:hello@rankraft.ai).

> Removing a prompt also removes its answer history. Any action in the Action Center that targeted it can no longer be measured and will report **Not enough data**.
