# Action types

> Every kind of action the Action Center can suggest, what triggers it and what it targets.

| **Confirm which of N brands are really your competitors** | Content | Prompt coverage | Two or more discovered brands are waiting for you to confirm or archive them. Pinned on top. |
| **Connect your site so we can see AI crawlers reaching it** | Technical | Prompt coverage | No integration has reported any traffic yet. Pinned on top. |
| **Unblock *bots* in robots.txt** | Technical | Citation rate | Your `robots.txt` definitely blocks one or more AI crawlers. High impact, small effort. |
| **Remove the meta tag telling AI not to use your pages** | Technical | Citation rate | Your homepage carries a `noai` or `noindex` meta tag. |
| **Your server sends a header that hides these pages** | Technical | Citation rate | An `X-Robots-Tag: noindex` header was found. |
| **Bot protection is turning away *bot*** | Technical | Citation rate | Live probes suggest a firewall or bot-protection rule is refusing an AI crawler. |
| **Answer “*prompt*” on your own site** | Content | Mention rate | You're named in 0% of answers to a prompt while competitors are named in at least a third. Up to five cards. Advice is tailored to what the engines cite for that prompt (video, roundups, forums, marketplaces, recipes). |
| **Give AI something of yours to cite for “*prompt*”** | Off-site | Citation rate | You're named for a prompt at least three times but never linked. Up to five cards. |
| **Replace the prompt “*prompt*” — it never gets a brand answer** | Content | Prompt coverage | After 8 or more answers, brands are named in under a third of them and never you. The question isn't one AI answers with brands. |
| **Source-specific outreach** | Off-site | Citation rate | A kind of source is cited in three or more of your answers. One card per kind, up to four. For example: *Get included in the roundups on domain*, *List your products on domain*, *Answer your category's questions on domain*, *Pitch domain for coverage*, *Publish video — the engines are answering this with domain*, *Keep your domain page current*. |

## Measurable and not measurable

Most actions are measured after you mark them done. Three aren't, because doing them changes what's being measured:

* Confirming competitors
* Connecting an integration
* Replacing a prompt

For these the card says *Doing this changes which prompts we ask, so there is no like-for-like window to compare against. We will still record that you did it.*
