# RankRaft AI Analytics for WordPress

> Log AI crawler and search bot requests from your WordPress server, even when pages are served from cache.

**RankRaft AI Analytics** is a WordPress plugin that records requests on your server and sends them to RankRaft AI. A browser snippet only runs when a browser runs it, so it never sees a crawler. AI bots don't execute JavaScript. Recording requests on the server is the only way to see crawler visits.

**Sees:** AI crawlers and AI referrals that reach WordPress.

## Requirements

The PHP Sodium extension is recommended so the site key can be stored encrypted.

## How it works

1. After WordPress has sent a page, the plugin writes one row describing the request to a local queue table. It costs a single database insert.
2. About once a minute, WP-cron sends the queued rows to RankRaft AI in batches.
3. If RankRaft AI is unreachable, rows stay queued (up to 100,000) and are retried for up to 7 days.

The plugin sets no cookies and adds no JavaScript to your pages. It does nothing until you test a site key.
